On your Island Explorer Tour you will get the chance to swim with dolphins. As these are wild animals, we watch their behaviour closely, so we don’t disturb them too much. The length of each swim varies depending on the day. There are no ropes, no boundaries, so you are free to swim where you like. Be aware you are swimming in the ocean, and need to be able to swim confidently.
Absolutely, we welcome families of all ages on board, and children are invited to swim, they just need a parent with them at all times.
We operate in the calm waters of the North Coast of Kangaroo Island. The swims are usually conducted in shallow protected water, between 1 and 3 metres deep. The areas where we find the dolphins are shallow and safe, which is why the dolphins can be found there during the day.
